If you saw dozens of boats on bay this weekend, you weren't alone.
The Erie Yacht Club hosted the Battle of Lake Erie College Sailing Regatta this weekend.
Eight colleges participated in the event from the area and from other countries.
Penn State Behrend, Penn State, Syracuse, RIT, Rochester, Pitt, IUP, Colgate, and Queens University Canada all had boats in the race.
Racing began from the Rickloff Community Boathouse at the Erie Yacht Club.
The two days worth of racing wrapped up on Sunday afternoon.
