Trails at Jakes Rocks Set for Annual Trail Fest in Warren County

Excitement is mounting as the Trails at Jakes Rocks gears up for their highly anticipated annual Trail Fest.

Recently named the 2024 Event of the Year by the PA Wilds, the Trail Fest will be held at Jakes Rocks in Warren, PA, which was also honored as the 2024 PA Trail of the Year. With these prestigious recognitions, the event promises an action-packed weekend.

Over 200 mountain bikers have already registered for the three-day event, taking place Friday, September 20th through Sunday, September 22nd. Organizers note that the excitement surrounding the event has been extraordinary, with local vendors, musicians, and nature enthusiasts coming together to honor the trails.

Casey Ferry, Executive Director of the Warren County Visitors Bureau, said, “Our slogan that we say at the Visitors Bureau for Warren County is ‘Find Your Adventure, Find Your Peace,’ and the Trails at Jakes Rocks is just kind of the epitome of that.”

The festival will feature music, food, vendors, and guided mountain biking tours led by members of the Northern Allegheny Mountain Biking Association.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Friends of Jakes Rocks, who manage and maintain the trails throughout the year.

Jim Decker, President of the Warren County Chamber of Business & Industry, commented, “If you want to come out and just experience the ambiance, you can, there is no charge to be at the festival itself. We will have a beer garden set up to go along with all the great food that we have, and Bent Run Brewing Company has even created a special beer for the occasion. It is going to be a fantastic event, and we welcome the public to come up.”

Although online registration for the event has closed, organizers have announced that there are still open spots available for purchase on-site this weekend.
