State Rep. Ryan Bizzarro will be hosting free license plate restoration event in conjunction with the Millcreek Township Police Department on Thursday, September 26.

The event will take place from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the former K-Mart Plaza at the intersection of West 26th St. and Sterrettania Rd.

“This event is designed to cut the red tape, so residents can replace faded and hard-to-read plates without jumping through hoops,” Bizzarro said.

Millcreek Police will be inspecting plates in the parking lot. Event organizers will make sure the correct paperwork is filed, help mail in the paperwork to Harrisburg and will notify residents when their new plates arrive at Bizzarro's Millcreek office.

Residents interesting in attending can save time by downloading the Replacement for Illegible Registration Plate Application (MV-46 form) and filling out sections A and C.
