Erie's Mayor on Security Plans for Trump Rally

Erie Mayor Joe Schember said every City of Erie police officer has been asked to be available to work Sunday. That is when former president Donald Trump will campaign in Erie.

Schember said he's not sure how many will be working but that it could be all officers.

Our sources say there will be a wide perimeter with lots of security around the Bayfront Convention Center.

That might mean restricted parking at the convention center. Doors will open at 10 a.m. for the rally which will begin at 2 p.m.

Tickets are available on the campaign’s website.
