Friday night was the annual Public Safety Dinner.
The event was sponsored UPMC Hamot and hosted by the Erie County Firefighters Association. This event brought together members of public safety including fire fighters, EMS, and elected officials to celebrate their hard work.
The key note speaker of the night was PA State Representative Jake Banta.
Organizers said the event was an opportunity to talk about the current conditions and the future of public safety in our community.
Several departments throughout the county and local emergency planning committee members attended the event.
