Erie's newest vegan restaurant, Sauce Vegan Ristoranté, will officially open its reservation link on Tuesday, October 1. 

As of right now, there is no opening date set. 

The reservation link will go live on Facebook and Instagram at 9 a.m. 

Owner Samantha Randall, who also runs the Sundae Gourmet Vegan Dessert and Ice Cream Truck, describes Sauce has an indulgent, gourmet vegan dining experience. 

Those interested in making reservations should take note of the restaurant's rules. 

Sauce House Rules: 

  • No Phones Allowed
    • Photos can be take before being escorted to your table
    • Phones will be placed in velvet bags.
  • Sauce is Reservation Only
    • At the time of booking your reservation, you will be required to pay to secure your booking. 
    • No refunds 
  • Dress Code
    • All Black 
    • Examples: Black cocktail dresses or pant suits, lace, vegan leather, velvet, latex, tulle
    • "Energy is sensual seduction, dinner at a Gothic French chateau in the 17th century, deadly, intoxicating and prominently rich." 
    • No jeans, no sweats and no khakis 
  • Each table only seats 2
    • Polyamorous relationships can be accommodated 
  • Sauce is only for those 21 years and older 
  • Sauce is BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage) 
    • Corking fee included in reservation fee 
    • Drink suggestions will be made with weekly menus 
  • New Menu Each Week
    • Meals include 4 gourmet vegan courses, including dessert 

Additionally, the restaurant is zero waste. Randall plans to donate any food (extra food prepared in the kitchen) at the end of every dinner (if available) to prevent any waste to the Erie City Mission. 

Sauce will also donate a portion of proceeds every month to local nonprofits in the community.
