Erie County Community College Appoints Two New Members to Board of Trustees

The Erie County Community College (EC3) has announced the appointed Geoffrey Groce and Ejay Fyke to its Board of Trustees. 

Groce is a vocational rehabilitation counselor and Fyke is the Community Affairs Manager at Vesper Energy. 

EC3 says both individuals bring a wealth of experience and community to the school's mission of providing quality education and opportunities to Erie community. 

Groce has experience in supporting individuals with disabilities as a vocational rehabilitation counselor with the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. 

“We are thrilled to welcome Geoff to the board,” said Dr. Chris Gray, President of Erie County Community College. “His deep experience in vocational rehabilitation and his dedication to serving marginalized communities will bring a valuable perspective to our board as we continue to expand access to education and workforce development.”

Fyke brings a combination of leadership, marketing expertise and a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion to his role as a trustee. His contributions to the Erie community earned him a spot in the Erie Reader's 40 Under 40 List, along with the City and State PA Impact Award. 

“We are equally excited to have Ejay Fyke join our board,” said Dr. Gray. “Ejay’s expertise in community engagement, his passion for educational empowerment, and his commitment to diversity and inclusion align perfectly with the values of EC3. He will be a great asset in shaping the future of our institution.”
