LECOM Health to Give Free Shoes to All LECOM Senior Living Residents for International Podiatry Day

LECOM Health is recognizing International Podiatry Day by giving out one free pair of shoes to all residents of their senior living communities. 

Distribution will begin at the Parkside Regency at South Shore on Tuesday, October 8 at 10 a.m. 

Organizers said Dr. James Lin, president of the LECOM Institute for Successful Living is personally donating the shoes on behalf of his family's shoe business, Oasis Footwear. 

Approximately 750 residents will receive a free pair of shoes throughout the week across all of LECOM's ten senior living communities. 

According to LECOM, International Podiatry day seeks to highlight the importance of foot health.
