The sudden loss of a grape farmer in the tight-knit community of Northeast has shaken fellow farmers and community members.
Daniel Smith is a dad of two young kids and a wife of twenty years.
Daniel Smith was working in the grape fields as he did so often,
when he suffered cardiac arrest and passed away.
The tragedy happened on his birthday and has shaken those who knew him well.
Nick Mobilia said, "It is refreshing to see the community come together when something bad happens, you don't see that often. We are here to keep an eye on the kids at school. It will be hard for all of them, but we will stick together as a town."
