A family of eight is about to see their dream of home ownership come true, thanks to Greater Erie Habitat for Humanity.
John and Ater Curry, and their little daughter joined Habitat leaders, partners and builders today, breaking ground, and blessing the site of what will be a five bedroom home at 2112 Eastlawn Parkway.
The Curry's have invested hundreds of hours helping with other habitat home builds. Now along with others, they'll start work on their own. With five sons and a daughter, they're excited to stop renting and have a house of their own.
The walls will go up soon, and the Curry's should be able to move in by next summer.
