Excitement for Harris Rally in Erie

Vice President Kamala Harris is coming into town on Monday. The Erie County Democratic Party Chair Sam Talarico said they're seeing plenty of enthusiasm at their headquarters.

"People have been coming in all day and all day yesterday. They are absolutely giddy about the chance to see Kamala Harris live. We've been registering people for the event. The excitement is absolutely off the charts. People just can't wait for this to happen," Talarico said. 

The Harris Campaign says the rally will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

According to the Erie Police Department, the rally will be at the Erie Insurance Arena.

Talarico said to expect the rally to be loud, full of people, and potentially see a few other candidates too.

"I don't have any information on who else will be here, but I assume all the big-wigs will be here. I'd hope Bob Casey would come in. I know Josh Shapiro may have other things going on. I'm sure all our local candidate will be on board also," Talarico said.
