AAA: Gas Prices Continue to Climb in Western Pennsylvania

Gas prices are six cents higher in Western Pennsylvania this week at $3.549 per gallon, according to AAA East Central's Gas Price Report.

The national average for a gallon of gas has jumped three cents since last week to $3.20 as parts of the country deal with back to back storm damage. 

AAA says today's national average is a penny less than a month ago and 40 cents less than a year ago. 

According to new data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA), gas demand surged from 8.52 million barrels per day last week to 9.65.
