The Warren County YMCA is gearing up for its 4th Annual Halloween Family Fun Night Sunday, October 20th, featuring new activities and an expanded schedule that is expected to attract a large crowd. Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Warren, the event will take place throughout the entire YMCA building.

Andrew Papalia, the Youth Sports and Family Coordinator, noted, “I’d say that we had close to 600 people last year. We do encourage people to pre-register this year; you can go to WarrenYMCA.org under registrations. It is still a free community event for all ages and the entire family, so we are looking forward to it—it is going to be a good time.”

Children ages 0 to 9 can enjoy the festivities from 4:30PM to 6:00PM, while those 10 and older will have their time from 6:00PM to 7:30PM. New activities include a scavenger hunt and a petting zoo, providing even more family fun.

Papalia expressed his excitement for the new attractions, saying, “I’m anxious to see the petting zoo; I know that’s a big hit with kids. Honestly, my favorite thing about this entire event is just seeing the different costumes and the different ages of kids coming out and enjoying the YMCA.”

A sensory hour will kick off the night for those who may prefer a quieter experience, and a sensory-friendly room will be available throughout the evening for anyone needing a break from the noise.

The event is free to attend, with registration encouraged but not required.

Additionally, the Warren County YMCA is running its 'OctoberFit' campaign, waiving sign-up fees throughout the month.
