Protesters Outside of Vice President Harris Rally

People lined up out the door outside of the Erie Insurance Arena for Vice President Kamala Harris's rally, but protestors also gathered outside the arena. Those protestors demonstrated their disapproval of the Harris and Walz Campaign, particularly against abortion.

“We want to stand up for the unborn. We don’t want this issue to be overlooked on this campaign or any campaign. We find it extremely alarming that Kamala Harris is such an extremist on this issue,” Director of Erie’s People For Life non-profit Tim Broderick said.

Broderick held a sign and stood with a handful of other protesters. Broderick said they're worried about how abortion regulations will be affected if Harris gets elected.

“We're concerned that if she gets in there will be no regulations, no safety regulations, and no limitations whatsoever. I don't think too many people want abortions for any reason or no reason throughout pregnancy without safeguards, without common sense regulations,” Broderick said.

Near the Erie International Airport where Harris arrived, there were also protestors against Harris and her policies, and they showed their support for Trump.

“I'm here for peace. I'm here for strength for Trump. When someone is willing to take a bullet for us, we have to be able to take a bullet for them. I was at the Butler rally. I was 50 feet from Trump when he got shot. I watched all the chaos going on . . . and there are way more reasons what I'm here for,” one protester across from the Erie International Airport, Blair Miller, said.
