Community Blood Bank, Lavery Brewing Co. Partner to Encourage Blood Donations

The Community Blood Bank is partnering with Lavery Brewing Company to encourage the community to give blood. 

From October 21 to the 25, all blood donors at the Erie Donor Center will receive a complimentary pint glass feature the slogan "Hoppy to Help," along with a $10 gift certificate to Lavery. 

Representatives from the blood bank say they hope to inspire both regular and fire-time donors to give through the partnership. 

The Community Blood Bank is the sole supplier of blood and blood products to area hospitals. According to the blood bank, each blood donation can save up to three lives. 

The Erie Donor Center is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
