A spider reportedly started to crawl on a driver when she lost control and crashed her car in Woodcock Township, Crawford County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

It was reported on Price Rd. east of Theuret Hill Rd. around 9 a.m. Oct. 15

The 58-year-old Saegertown woman was heading west when the spider reportedly crawled on her, investigators said.

She lost control of a Ford Fusion car which left the road, hit a guide rail with the front end and overturned onto its roof, according to troopers.

The driver was wearing her seat belt and was not injured, but a trooper said he had to cut off the seat belt to help free the woman from the vehicle.
