Another high school student from across Erie, Crawford and Warren counties was awarded with the C.L.A.S.S. Act Emerging Leader Award now in it's third year, thanks to several local sponsors and the IU5.

This afternoon, our Eva Mastromatteo surprised Seneca High School 11th grader, Olivia Paris, with the award, while in her government class. She will receive a $1,200 scholarship towards schooling, after graduation.

Paris was nominated by two staff members who says she displays integrity on a daily basis.

The award praises students for being a good citizen in class and in their school community.

Erie News Now would like to congratulate all of the nominees for this month's Northwest Pa. C.L.A.S.S. Act Emerging Leader Award.

We'll surprise another lucky winner, next month.
