Republican Candidates Host Rally in Erie

Several Republicans hosted a rally with supporters just hours before the election on Sunday.

U.S. Senate Candidate, Dave McCormick was supposed to be in Erie on Sunday alongside fellow Republicans running for office like Dan Laughlin and Micah Goring at the Honeybaked Ham on Peach Street.

But McCormick and Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders got delayed at Former President Donald Trump's rally near Lancaster and couldn't make the Erie event.

They both appeared via zoom rallying support. Voters said they believe candidates like McCormick will be good fits for Erie.

Other Republican leaders and lawmakers were also in attendance like State Representative Jake Banta, Councilman Charlie Bayle, County Executive Brenton Davis
