Two students on a school bus and their driver were taken to be checked out for injuries after a vehicle hit a Millcreek Township School District bus Tuesday morning, according to school district leaders.
It was reported at W. 26th St. and Crescent Dr. around 7:55 a.m.
The bus was transporting six students to the Sarah Reed Hamilton campus when the three-vehicle crash happened, school officials said.
Police said the bus stopped on Crescent Dr. for a a red light when it collided with a Chrysler van heading west on 26th St., and the crash pushed the bus into a stopped Mitsubishi SUV.
Another bus and parents were called to pick up the students.
The school district said the crash is under investigation.
