Crawford and Warren Counties on Tuesday both issued burn bans.
In Warren County, the ban goes in effect immediately and will remain in effect until further notice. No end date was given for Crawford County's ban, either, but it cannot extend more than 30 days without being renewed.
Crawford County is allowing campfires on campgrounds in fire rings that confine and contain the campfire as long as all flammable materials in a five-foot radius have been removed.
Numerous wildfires and brush fires have been reported across the region in recent days due to persistent, drought-like conditions.
Erie County Executive Brenton Davis on Monday also issued a temporary countywide burn ban for similar reasons.
