McDonald's restaurants in Erie will be recognizing Veterans Day by offering current and former military members free food.
Participating McDonald's restaurants will offer a meal to all veterans, with a valid military ID, all day on Monday, November 11.
For breakfast, veterans can enjoy a free sausage egg McMuffin meal, including a hash brown and any size soft drink, coffee or tea. For lunch or dinner, veterans can enjoy a free 10 pc. McNugget Meal, with medium fry and any size soft drink, coffee or tea.
Deals are only available via dine-in or drive thru.
Additionally, Panera Bread will honor those in uniform with a free bagel and coffee on Monday, November 11. The promotion will be available at 4 Panera Bread locations in Erie in honor of Veterans Day.
Those interested in taking advantage of the promotion can simply show up in uniform or show their valid Military ID or discharge papers.
“Without the sacrifice and bravery of our men and women in uniform, we wouldn’t have a country to live in let alone a business to run,” said Sam Covelli, Owner/Operator of Covelli Enterprises. “This is a small thank you for a very big reason. We are grateful to all veterans and service members for the freedoms they have afforded us.”
Covelli Enterprises is Panera Bread's largest franchisee.
The complimentary bagel and coffee will be available for veterans until 11 a.m. on Monday. The promotion includes one regular sized hot or iced coffee and one free bagel of choice. Offer is valid for dine-in only.
Sheetz will show its respect and gratitude for veterans and active duty military personnel by offering a free meal and car wash on Veterans Day.
On Monday, November 11, Sheetz is offering veterans and active duty military members a free half turkey sub and a regular size fountain drink at any Sheetz location. The offer includes extras & add-ons to the sub.
Additionally, Sheetz will provide a free car wash for veterans. The offer only applies to the $9 car wash option and is only available at Sheetz stores that have a car wash. Military ID or proof of service but be presented to qualify.
