After several days of solving mail-in ballot issues, it was a fairly calm night at the Erie County Courthouse's Election Office.
According to Erie County Clerk, Karen Chillcott, there was no major issues at any of the polling locations throughout Election Day.
Staff began the day by pre-canvassing all the mail-in ballots, then it was all about counting the ballots from the polling locations.
All 149 polling precincts had all their materials in by the end of the night.
Starting Wednesday, staff at the Election Office will begin going through the provisional ballots.
The Election Office will then have two weeks to certify the election.
