Launch of New Flights to Orlando

A water canon salute to welcome in the landing Breeze Airways plane coming from Orlando, FL into Erie, PA.
Executive Director of the Erie Regional Airport Derek Martin said it was great to see people coming off the plane, happy with their flight.
“Also watching all the people get off the planes – we saw families coming from Florida up to Erie. They're visiting family and friends. So, it was good to see, and we had a good number of families behind us going down to Florida as well,” Martin said.
This new flight can hold up to 137 passengers. Vice President of Guest Experience for Breeze Airways Danny Cox said it's a strong start, as the first flights to and from Orlando are booking up.
“We are tremendously impressed with the way the community showed up sometimes some of these markets we get our name out there and people don't know who we are and don't know that this route exist and so it takes a little while, but the people of Erie have shown up. We’ve gone almost full plane going out right now and we had a very full plane coming in,” Cox said.
