VFW Post 740 Presents $3,500 Checks to Local Animal Shelters

There was so much emotion packed into the Veterans Day Ceremony at the Edinboro-McKean VFW Post 740 on Nov. 11. 

The ceremonial posting of colors by the Junior ROTC. Local students singing the National Anthem.

Guest speakers, included State Junior Vice Commander, Jim Brown, presentation of the POW/MIA table.

Words from State Rep. Jake Banta, and. Post Commander John Hayden. Our Mike Ruzzi also served as a guest speaker.

Over 80 people attended the event. 

Later that evening, VFW Post 740 handed out two checks to the Erie Humane Society and the Anna Shelter at $3,500 each.
