PNC delivered more than a 1,000 warm coats to children across western Pennsylvania.
The distribution was held at the Child Development Center on East 27th Street. Pre-school aged children came into the gymnasium, each with a card for their size, and could choose a brand new warm winter jacket.
Donating 1,300 coats is part of PNC's mission to support children in our community to "Grow up Great."
"This is the 18th year for Operation Warm Coat and over that time we've distributed close to 17,000 brand new winter coats to students across western Pennsylvania," said Jim Stevenson, PNC Bank Regional President.
"Oh we're very excited to receive coats for our children we receive in Erie, Crawford and Venango County so we're able distribute a lot of coats to kids today," said Rina Irwin, CEO Child Development Center.
Each year PNC chooses a different location to receive the brand new jackets to make sure kids stay warm all winter long.
