VA Medical Center Distributes Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner Boxes

The season of giving continued this morning at the VA Medical Center in Erie.

Local veterans in our region received Thanksgiving turkey dinner boxes as a way of saying "thank you".

Veterans in need, who registered in advance, came to the Erie VA's second floor pavilion to pick up their goods from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In partnership with the Erie Times Newsies and Erie Elks Lodge 67, over 200 dinner boxes were distributed.  A table of other household items were also given out to veterans and their families. 

Other dinner boxes will be distributed Saturday, November 23rd.
