American Airlines Cancels Sunday Flights, Another Flight Monday

American Airlines has cancelled all Sunday arrivals and departures from Erie International Airport, according to the airline's website.

They include:

Flight 5851 - 6:15 a.m. departure to Charlotte was delayed to Monday at noon
Flight 5681 - 10:52 a.m. arrival from Charlotte and 11:17 a.m. departure to Charlotte cancelled
Flight 5909 - 5:10 p.m. arrival from Charlotte and 5:38 p.m. departure to Charlotte cancelled
Flight 5701 - 10:41 p.m. arrival from Charlotte cancelled

On Monday, American flight 5851, which was set to leave Erie for Charlotte at 6:15 a.m., is cancelled.

Heavy snow has been falling across Erie County, cancelling all three daily American flights in and out of Erie's airport on Friday and Saturday.

Breeze Airways also canceled its flight to and from Orlando on Saturday.
