Snow Disaster Emergency Declared in Erie County

Erie County executive Brenton Davis on Friday declared a snow disaster emergency effective immediately due to hundreds of stranded cars and people across the county.

It directs the Erie County Emergency Management Coordinator to take all appropriate action needed to alleviate the effects of this disaster, help restore essential public services and to take any other emergency response required.

He says emergency management and first responders are working to rescue and transport anyone stranded as soon as possible.
