2025 Pennsylvania Fishing Licenses, Permits & Vouchers On Sale Now

Fishing licenses, permits, and vouchers for the upcoming 2025 season are on sale now on the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission's (PFBC) website. 

2025 licenses, permits, and vouchers purchased now are valid immediately for up to 13 months, from December 1, 2025 though December 31, 2025. 

"As the busy winter and holiday seasons kick into high gear, now is the best time to get a jump on the fishing opportunities happening right now and just ahead in the spring,” said Tim Schaeffer, PFBC Executive Director.  “Whether you’re buying a fishing license for yourself or purchasing a voucher to give as a gift to family and friends, you’re unlocking the chance to make some lifelong memories on the water.  Getting your license now ensures you can take advantage of every fishing season throughout the rest of this year and next year.  Pennsylvania is one of the premier states to fish in the country, with literally something for everyone.  Those opportunities are made possible by the investment of fishing license dollars, and we thank you for being an integral part of that cycle of success.”

Customers can choose from annual or multi-year licenses and permits with 3,5, and 10-year options. Purchased documents can be printed immediately or saved digitally to a smart device. 

Additionally, the PFBC is once again offering collectible fishing license buttons for the 2025 license year. This year's button features a classic keystone design, highlighted in a conservation green and navy blue color scheme.
