It appears the weight of this snow was too much for the roof of a barn in North East on Tuesday.
The roof collapsed around 6:30 p.m. along Gay Rd.
Volunteer firefighters and a search and rescue team responded.
The owner of the barn tells Erie News Now the structure dates back to the 19th century.
Crews worked to reinforce what's left of the structure and to save the livestock inside at the time of the collapse.
