Gerlach's Uses Massive Snow Melter to Clear Amazon Fulfillment Center Parking Lot

A local company is taking a unique approach to ensure that Amazon drivers can keep on delivering during the winter storms.

Gerlach's Property Maintenance teamed up with Aero Snow Removal Corporation to clear out the Amazon Fulfillment Center's parking lot off of West 23rd Street.

Aero Snow Removal---which is based out of Westbury, New York---uses massive snow melters, which can melt up to 600 tons of snow an hour.

The company is often used by airports, sports complexes, and commercial sites, helping each entity to remove large quantities of snow in the middle of a storm.
