The American Red Cross NWPA Chapter is offering roof rakes to Erie County residents so they can clear snow from their homes. Heavy snowfall can cause roof collapses and damage. 

Residents interested in requesting a roof rake should call the Red Cross at 814-240-7061 and leave a message with their name and phone number. 

The Red Cross will residents back with details on where and when they can pick up rakes. 

The Red Cross will distribute rakes in the order calls are received. Residents will have 24 hours to pick up and return borrowed rakes.
