Millcreek Township Removes Traffic Light on West 8th Street

A Millcreek traffic light has been removed.

It was the one at the intersection of West 8th Street at the West Erie Plaza.

The removal is part of ongoing efforts to improve traffic flow and safety within Millcreek Township.

For years, local drivers have tried to understand the need for that traffic light, as it's just feet away from one at the intersection of West 8th and Pittsburgh Avenue.
