Bids for kids, this year is the 29th year that Wabtec Corporation is presenting checks to nonprofits.

This year the Boys and Girls Club of Erie and North Western Pennsylvania, Make-A-Wish, Shriner's Hospitals of Children all received checks that added up to over $250,000.

Every year Wabtec donates to these charities to help children in need. As an Erie based company Wabtec continues to pour right back in to the communities future.

Next year's bids for kids is already being planned, it will be the 30th anniversary and Wabtec hopes to receive $300,000 in donations.
