The Hagen History Center on West 6th Street kicked of the new year with a new program and exhibits.

The "Pay What You Wish" program started in January and this program lets Erie residents come to the museum and pay what they are able. If a resident only has a dollar to pay with, they can pay with that and still enjoy the museum and all its exhibits.

Museum officials hope this new initiative draws in more people to properties.

The museum also has three new exhibits for the new year including a "Made You Look" area with Erie signs and history, a 100 years of the Erie Zoo space, and an exhibit about Erie firearms.

The "Pay What You Wish" program will run through March.
