The Mayville Winter Festival will live on thanks to Inspire Good of Western New York, Inc. The nonprofit organization was found in 2024, by two female business owners who have a passion for inspiring good in the community and giving back.

The Chautauqua County Chamber previously announced they would be canceling the festival due to increased expenses and increasing challenges around the hands-on support required to host an event of this magnitude.

However, on Saturday, January 11, the nonprofit formally announced they would be taking over the event. 

Inspire Good of WNY says they are working in conjunction with the Village of Mayville, as well as many local businesses and individuals to make the event happen. 

The Chautauqua County Chamber has formally requested the Village of Mayville to transfer the Lakeside Park reservations and concession agreement to the group, as well as the Town of Chautauqua to consider transferring their support of the event. 

This year's festival will be held February 14 through Feb. 16. 

The first planning meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 15 at 6 p.m. in the Town of Chautauqua Meeting Room.
