Katie Scott Turns Pro at 17-Years Old, Signs Contract with Kansas City Current

Katie Scott, a five-time All-American, is forgoing her college soccer career and has left Penn State. The 17-year old from Fairview has signed a Professional Contract with the Kansas City Current of the NWSL.
This past October, Scott helped the USA take home the Bronze medal after beating England 3-0 in the U17 World Cup.
Scott has been playing for the USWNT since she was 14. Her accomplishments with the team include:
- 2022 USWNT U15 CONCACAF Champion
- 2023 USWNT U16 Mondial Cup Champion In France
- 2024 USWNT U17 CONCACAF Champion
- 2024 USWNT U17 World Cup Bronze Medal Winner
Katie's soccer journey began with the Erie Admirals before she joined the International's Soccer Club of Akron Ohio.
