Engineering for the project is nearly finished, but the city is still working to secure permits from regulatory agencies.
For those unable to attend in person, a Zoom option will be available. Mayor David Wortman emphasized the importance of community input in shaping the project.
“We want to hear from residents,” stated Mayor Wortman. “The city does not have a monopoly on good ideas. We rely on other folks to talk a look at what the project is because in the end, it's the community's project. We want it to look and reflect the vision of the residents and other folks that are interested in the project."
The city encourages all residents to participate and share their thoughts.
