The Gem City Flea Market returned for its first event of the year.


At the start of every month from October to April, the show brings out artisans, crafters, collectors, and shoppers for a morning of browsing and buying.

Over 50 small business owners set up shop for the event.

It has been going on for six years and organizers said it continues to grow every month.

Some of the most popular items have been vinyl records.

It only costs a dollar to attend and all the money goes to a different non-profit each month.

Fix Erie was the local charity that benefited from Sunday's event.

The next Gem City Flea Market event is set for Saturday, February 1, from 9:00-1:00 at the SAGA Club on Washington Street.
