A positive of the snow this winter is the increase in business for private snowplow drivers.

Dillon Foringer is one of them. He is the owner of Foringer Property Maintenance in Erie County.

Unlike the last few winters, he’s been very busy this season.

He plows driveways and parking lots around the area.

He’s had no problems finding customers. He’s booked.

During the Black Friday storm alone, he got hundreds of calls and texts asking for service.

That storm was overwhelming, he said. There was so much snow that several pieces of his equipment broke.

“It was wet, heavy underneath because the ground was still kind of warm,” he said.

“[The plow] didn’t like to push it and it was so tall it would go over…over the plow.”
