Tall Ships Erie 2019 continues to draw big crowds to the Erie Waterfront to see a dozen majestic tall ships, including the host vessel U.S. Brig Niagara.

On Sunday, the final day of the festival, shuttle service will continue to run between parking locations and drop off points near the festival grounds from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Because of heavy traffic that bogged shuttles down between 10:00 a.m. and noon on Saturday, festival organizers encourage those who are physically able, to enjoy walking into Tall Ships Erie on Sunday, from downtown parking meters and lots.

Deck tours will be available again on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Ships will depart throughout the day on Monday, most of them likely without their sails up.

Erie News Now has learned from Fleet Captain Billy Sabatini, Executive Director of the Flagship Niagara League, that two of the ships will stay in the port of Erie beyond Monday.

The popular Spanish ship the Santa Maria will stay in Erie until Tuesday and Picton Castle will stay until Wednesday.
