New York State Police have released the name of the man found dead in Dunkirk June 11.

Andrew Garner, 41, of Dunkirk, has been identified as the victim of a homicide.

Garner was found dead along State Route 5 when troopers were called to check on his welfare.

The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations is investigating with the help of other local law enforcement.
