State Rep. Ryan Bizzarro (D-Erie) is running for Pennsylvania Treasurer and reelection as state representative, his campaign announced Tuesday.

In an announcement video, Bizzarro criticized current treasurer Stacy Garrity's position on issues and handling of money by accusing her of playing politics.

Garrity, a Republican, was elected to a four-year term in 2020 and can serve up to two terms.

Bizzarro was first elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2012 and represents the third district, which includes Millcreek and Fairview Townships.
