State Police Investigate Use of Counterfeit Money at Girard Business

Pennsylvania State Police are asking for help to identify a suspect in the use of counterfeit money at a Girard business, according to Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers.
It happened Sept. 23 at the Giant Eagle at 9125 W. Ridge Rd.
The woman in the photos is accused of using a counterfeit $100 bill to pay for two pound packs of strawberries, Gatorade and Tic Tac big packs which came to a total of $16.52, troopers said.
The suspect is described as approximately 30-45 year old and was wearing a black shirt and black pants, according to state police.
