The Venango County man charged with killing his girlfriend's young child late last year is being held for court following a preliminary hearing Monday.
Police arrested and charged Trevaughn Stribling-Jackson, 24, with homicide and other criminal counts in connection to the death of that two-year-old child.
The judge decided there was enough evidence for all the charges to proceed during the Monday's hearing.
The boy's mother had reported the child as missing. Police said they eventually found the boy's body in a canvas bag in the basement of the couple's Oil City home.
Police eventually charged that mom - Caleigh Gladfelter, 22 - with child endangerment.
