Scott Enterprises will be celebrating the grand opening of their new restaurant, Roma's Italian Kitchen, with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, May 15.

The ribbon cutting will take place at the restaurant at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to Scott Enterprises, it has been a several year journey to get Roma's Italian Kitchen to where it is today. In 2021, the idea was originally presented as an Italian Brick Oven, then plans were underway for a Quaker Steak & Lube.

However, Scott Enterprises made the decision to establish Roma's Italian Kitchen, hoping to fill the void of an authentic Italian dining experience on Erie's West Side.

The new restaurant concept will feature authentic Italian cuisine crafted by a culinary team led by Chef Scott Croyle. Guests can enjoy dishes like chicken parmesan, ravioli, lasagna, house-made meatballs and more while sipping on an array of Italy inspired cocktails and craft beers.

The restaurant will be open daily. Starting Thursday, May 16, the restaurant will be open from 4-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 4-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Roma's plans to offer lunch daily in the near future.

"We are thrilled to bring the flavors of Italy to Erie with the opening of Roma's Italian Kitchen," said Nick
Scott Sr., President of Scott Enterprises. "From the moment you step through our doors, you'll be treated to
a dining experience that celebrates the richness of Italian tradition right here in Erie. We can't wait to
welcome the community to Roma’s."

The restaurant is located at 2933 West 12th Street, off of Peninsula Drive.
