Low-cost airline carrier Breeze Airways will offer twice-weekly service between Erie, Pa., and Orlando, Fla., airport and airline officials announced Wednesday morning.

Flights will be offered Wednesday and Saturday starting Nov. 6.

Tickets for the new flights went on sale starting 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The airline is offering 35 percent off all roundtrip base fairs for all trips purchased by 11:59 p.m. PT on Aug. 9 for travel between Aug. 28 and Feb. 4, as well as April 28 and May 13, with the promo code TAKEOFF.

Breeze will become the second airline serving Erie International Airport. American had been the only airline flying in and out of Erie, providing service to Charlotte, N.C., after United and Delta discontinued service in recent years.

Erie becomes Breeze's fourth city in Pennsylvania. It already serves Pittsburgh, Lancaster and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

The airline said it doesn’t charge change or cancellation fees up to 60 minutes prior to departure and offers other benefits such as free family seating and a la carte pricing. Travelers can purchase bundled options or go a la carte for add-ons such as bags, seats,
and inflight WiFi.
