Mount Pleasant of Edinboro will officially open for the skiing and snowboarding season on Saturday, December 14. This is the ski resort's 54th season. 

The resort will be operate under the following hours: 

  • Saturday, Dec. 14: 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. 
  • Sunday, Dec. 15: 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Monday, Dec. 16-Thursday, Dec. 19: CLOSED 
  • Friday, Dec. 20: Holiday Hours Begin, Opens at 3:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve): 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 
  • Wednesday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day): CLOSED 
  • Thursday, Dec. 26: Opens at 9:30 a.m. 

“We are excited to be open for the Holiday week,” said Owner Laura Sinsabaugh “Christmas is an exciting time of year, and we are thrilled to be able to offer families an affordable and family-friendly on-snow experience.”

Over the summer, Mount Pleasant installed two additional snowguns and a new 150 hp vertical turbine water pump in order to make more snow. 

Additionally, the resort is introducing the Slopeside Pub. The pub will serve beer and will be open during regular ski hours. 

The resort expects to open the tube park shortly after Christmas.
