The U.S. House of Representatives passed legislation to designate U.S. Route 20 as the National Medal of Honor Highway on Monday, December 9.
The bipartisan, bicameral bill has already passed the U.S. Senate and now heads to President Biden's desk for his signature.
U.S. Route 20 runs coast-to-coast from Massachusetts to Oregon, and a portion of it runs through Erie County.
