Woman Charged with Stabbing Boyfriend
A local woman faces criminal charges for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend in the face, during a domestic dispute. A local woman faces criminal charges for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend in the face, during a domestic dispute.
It happened around 2:00 a.m. as the couple argued in their home in the 2100 block of West 23rd Street.
Neighbors told police the victim ran outside and banged on doors asking for help. Two children ages 13 and 4 were home when the assault happened 34 year old Jessica Bower-Sox faces counts including aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of children, harassment and possessing an instrument of crime.
"We asked the female if we could come inside and make sure that everyone was okay, she complied, officers then found a trail of blood inside the residence," said Rick Lorah, Deputy Chief Erie Police. "There was several juveniles in the residence."
The victim is a 31 year old male. Police interviewed him at the hospital, and talked with the juveniles at the scene as well, before filing charges.
